Cyware has unveiled a major update to its AI-powered security suite, expanding its capabilities with a new AI Fabric designed to streamline threat intelligence and security operations. The company, known for its work in threat intelligence management, secure threat sharing, collaboration, and hyper-orchestration, announced the launch of its new Cyware Quarterback AI solution this week.
Cyware Quarterback AI was first introduced in March 2024 as a Co-pilot chat assistant. Since that debut, both the AI market and Cyware’s strategy have evolved rapidly. In July, the company rolled out the Cyware MCP Server, and now the Quarterback AI platform is taking a major step forward. The upgraded system introduces an AI Fabric that blends Generative, Agentic, and In-Product AI capabilities to accelerate workflows across threat intelligence and security operations.
Built to enhance analyst productivity, the AI Fabric applies multiple AI techniques to unify threat intelligence, simplify security automation, and improve the speed and efficiency of security teams.
“Paramount to Cyware’s direction is our customers’ success, and we are excited to be able to ease the practitioner’s day-to-day operations and accelerate their workflows with an AI Fabric approach,” said Sachin Jade, CPO of Cyware. “Our latest innovations in Cyware Quarterback AI tackle complex playbook creation, manual threat data collection, disconnected threat context, and delayed threat detection and response with the best AI methods available.”
As AI reshapes the cybersecurity landscape, many organizations are grappling with how best to apply it. Cyware says it has identified where AI delivers the most practical value through direct work with some of the largest threat intelligence and security operations teams. Its AI Fabric now embeds those lessons into everyday workflows, delivering measurable results.
“The advancements in AI this year have made it clear that agentic AI and its real-world application are the future of cybersecurity,” said Akshat Jain, co-founder and CTO of Cyware. “We will continue to invest in that direction so our customers can respond faster, act smarter, and stay ahead of emerging threats.”
The AI Fabric approach is designed to extend Cyware’s unified threat intelligence management model by integrating AI directly into products and workflows. Unlike standalone AI tools, this system weaves intelligence throughout the threat lifecycle—from ingestion to action—helping analysts work faster and enabling security teams to scale.
Key features of the upgraded Cyware Quarterback AI include:
-
Playbook Builder Agent: Simplifies playbook creation through an intuitive, LLM-assisted interface that generates workflows from natural language descriptions.
-
Custom Code Generator: Automatically creates custom code blocks for playbooks from natural language prompts, removing the need for deep coding skills.
-
Playbook Runlog Debugger: Identifies root causes in failed playbook runs and provides step-by-step remediation guidance to accelerate troubleshooting.
-
Threat Summarization: Delivers instant summaries of threat intelligence reports and related objects like IOCs and malware to reduce alert fatigue.
-
Advanced Threat Intel Crawler (Browser Plugin): Converts threat intelligence from websites into structured, enriched data in real time, cutting down manual data collection work.
Together, these capabilities extend Cyware’s footprint in AI-driven security operations, where automation and intelligence operate hand in hand.
