Klever Compliance CEO is participating in three webinars to provide visibility for three critical areas in IT the week of March 17, 2025

Klever Compliance, the tool agnostic leader in Compliance Management as a Service (CMaaS), is proud to announce that their Founder and CEO, Karina Klever, will be participating in three virtual events the week of March 17, 2025. The competency areas being addressed continue to introduce risk into infrastructure environments and are typically immature compared to other Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) functions.

On March 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM PDT, Karina will be supporting Women’s History Month by participating in a webinar hosted by the ISSA So Cal chapter. This speaker series is called ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Trust’ and will be focused on an exploration of how to move beyond traditional vulnerability tracking and start quantifying cyber risk in a way that executives, regulators and engineers all understand.

“Many Risk Management programs are established leveraging ethereally written nebulous controls that don’t actually apply to true company functional operations. Meaningful risk measurement is largely about tracking failed controls, but this requires that the controls be appropriate to your actual operations as well” said Karina Klever, CEO of Klever Compliance.

“This webinar goes beyond collaboration – it’s a real conversation with industry leaders who specialize in building organizational trust and breaking compliance barriers surrounding Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ) and GRC.” co-panelist, Nia F. Luckey, Professional Speaker and CISO Advisor stated.

On March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT, Karina will be discussing adaptive compliance in a webinar hosted by Yastis. Adaptive compliance focuses on establishing ongoing compliance principles instead of just the initial establishment of a GRC Program frequently using checkbox compliance.

“Achieving and maintaining compliance is a long-term commitment that evolves with your company’s maturity. It requires continuous adjustments to risk positioning, adapting to changing regulations and frameworks, while identifying opportunities for improvement” said Karina Klever, CEO of Klever Compliance.

“Cyber GRC is best served as a combo meal of expertise and automation, and this webinar will be a cook-off of actionable strategies for the audience to consider” said co-panelist Mike Andrewes, Owner and Cybersecurity Consultant at Yastis.

On March 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM PDT, Karina will be providing insight into common vulnerabilities found within most Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Programs as she participates in a webinar hosted by Locktivity.

“Some of our industry’s largest risks are a result of lack of data classification and data mapping. This results in relinquishing critical company data to third party companies that frequently claim they are not accountable for your data in their contracts, terms of service, or privacy policies” said Karina. “Most SOC2s carve out liability for subservice organizations, and cyber insurance policies typically don’t cover how your vendors handle your data.”

Karina will be speaking about returning to core data governance principles including API maintenance and destruction practices. “Klever Compliance guided us into understanding that we shouldn’t hoard data to the point where we encrypt publicly available information … The savings in time and money we experienced was astronomical!”, said a former client.
