New York, NY — December 2, 2025 — Lighthouse Guild, a blind-led New York City based nonprofit with more than 120 years of service to the blind and low vision community, today announced a new partnership with STIG, a national leader in Cybersecurity and Managed IT Solutions, which has committed to becoming the organization’s 2026 sponsor for Adaptive Athletics. This collaboration will support Lighthouse Guild’s own adaptive sports programming – which includes blind baseball, goalball, running, cycling, and youth athletic initiatives – as well as its expanding relationship with New York City’s professional sports.
STIG’s substantial leadership gift will help scale the reach and impact of Adaptive Athletics for people who are blind or visually impaired, providing greater access to coaching, equipment, training, and competitive opportunities throughout the year.

Lighthouse Guild’s Adaptive Athletics initiative has grown in recent years. In addition to supporting the Lighthouse Guild Lightning blind baseball team, the organization runs clinics, youth programs, and community events that help athletes of all ages build physical strength, independence, and a sense of belonging.
