Safety & Security Asia 2026 Launches Smart Cities Initiative, Bringing Security, Fire, Health, Emergency and
Systems Integration Expertise Together to Build Asia’s Future-Ready Cities
• AI-driven dashboards and data are set to define high performance for tomorrow’s smart cities, as Safety &
Security Asia (SSA) 2026 convenes the full ecosystem behind urban resilience under one roof across five
co-located shows.
SINGAPORE, 31 August 2026 — Safety and Security Asia (SSA) 2026 taking place from 10 to 12 November 2026
at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore; comprising five co-located events, The Security Event Asia (TSEA),
The Fire Safety Event Asia (FSEA), The Health & Safety Event Asia (HSEA), The Emergency Services Show Asia
(ESSA) and Pro Integration Future Asia (PIFA), will launch its Smart Cities Initiative this November, bringing together
the technologies and practitioners shaping the connected, resilient cities of the future. As Asia’s cities accelerate
their digital transformation, this Initiative positions SSA as the region’s meeting point for every discipline that
underpins a truly smart city: security and resilience, fire prevention and safety, health and safety, emergency
preparedness and systems integration.
At the centre of the Initiative is a simple premise: a smart city is only as strong as the intelligence connecting it.
Advanced technologies and connectivity are reshaping how cities anticipate risk and respond to it, and artificial
intelligence has become the critical factor that turns disparate systems into effective dashboards and real-time data
that decision-makers can act on. From intelligent infrastructure and AI-powered analytics to integrated command
centres and digital twins, the Smart Cities Initiative brings this convergence into sharp focus for government
agencies, city planners, infrastructure operators, system integrators and enterprise leaders.
Kenny Tay, CEO, Singapore Artificial Intelligence Association commented, “A smart city isn’t defined by how
much technology it deploys, but by how intelligently that technology talks to itself. AI is the layer that turns security
cameras, fire sensors, health systems and emergency networks into one coherent, responsive city rather than a
patchwork of separate tools. That’s the shift Singapore and the wider region are making, and it’s exactly the
conversation this Initiative brings together in one place.”
The event will bring together 475+ exhibiting companies showcasing 10,000+ products and solutions, alongside
government agencies, city planners, infrastructure operators, system integrators, technology providers and safety,
security and emergency practitioners from across the region.
The Initiative will welcome some 13,000 industry practitioners where visitors can take a deep dive into the dedicated
Smart Cities programme, where panel discussions will bring together key projects from across the region, giving
practitioners the opportunity to learn from real-world implementation.
Key sessions on the 2026 conference agenda include:
• How Digitalisation and Relevant Data Help to Create Truly AI-powered Smart Cities
